Privacy Policy

NoCloud AI is designed to work locally and does not require an account.

Data collection

NoCloud AI does not receive or store the contents of your documents, prompts, questions, generated answers, contacts, account details, or precise location. The version currently submitted to the App Store uses a promotional screen rendered inside the app and does not request third-party advertising.

Documents and generated content

Files you import, local indexes, preferences, and generated results are processed and stored inside the app container on your device. Deleting the app removes this local app data according to iOS behavior.

Optional model downloads

If you explicitly choose a Gemma model and approve the download disclosure, the app connects to Hugging Face or its model-content delivery network over HTTPS only to retrieve static model files and stores them locally. Hugging Face may receive the requested model-file path, your IP address, and ordinary HTTPS/network metadata. No documents, prompts, questions, generated answers, or local files are included in that request. You can review the Hugging Face Privacy Policy before approving the download.

Local AI processing

NoCloud AI does not use a third-party AI inference service. The Apple Foundation Model runs through Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework. Downloaded Gemma models run on the device through Apple MLX. Document text, prompts, questions, and generated answers are never sent to Hugging Face or another AI provider for inference.

Apple services and purchases

The optional built-in Apple model and subscription purchases use Apple system frameworks. Purchases are processed by the App Store and governed by Apple’s privacy terms.

Children

The app is not designed to collect information from anyone, including children.
